Pastor Jeff Foels

Senior Pastor

Joined PPC on 8/27/18

Email

Jeff was appointed to serve as Plymouth Presbyterian Church's Senior Pastor August 27, 2018.

Prior to coming to PPC, Jeff served for four years as Associate Pastor for Education and Faith Formation at House of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Paul. Before that he was the Director of Youth Ministry at Hope for three years. Prior to attending seminary, he worked as Youth Program Director at First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater for a year.

Jeff earned his Master of Divinity, with Honors, from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago in 2010. He received several awards at McCormick including ones for preaching, scholarship, New Testament and archeology.  Completing his undergraduate studies, Jeff graduated Cum Laude from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies, Art History and Religion.

Jeff has served the wider church on the Presbytery Leadership Team, the Presbytery Bills and Overtures Committee, and as a Trustee at McCormick, among other service.  The attributes that best describe Jeff as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Plymouth Presbyterian Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ.

Jeff enjoys getting together with people and getting to know them. He believes that worship should engage people so that they feel a sense of participation, not just observing the service. He has a personal approach to pastoral care—meeting with them directly.  He and his wife are loving parents of a young daughter.

Roxanne Wynne

Office/Communications Manager

Email

Roxanne began working at PPC in mid-August of 2019 through a temporary service. As of November 11, 2019, she became officially a PPC employee and we have been delighted to have her with us!

"I am delighted to work with PPC! My passion has always been in the admin field. When I was 6 years old, my dad placed a (now, old-fashioned, outdated) typewriter in my lap to play with and I never looked back! I graduated from MN School of Business in the Legal Secretary Program. I have more than 30 years’ experience with office programs, website creation and office procedures and ran my own administrative business for more than 10 years as I raised my 5 children from home. I kept up with all the latest software and honed my craft to be where I am today. I am honored to meet all of you and to serve as the Lord leads.”
