David Neil Morem, 67, of Maple Grove, MN and Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 at his Florida home.

David was born in Le Sueur, Minnesota to Neil and Joan Morem on June 28th, 1957. He attended school in Wayzata and Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School. He graduated with his bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his MBA at the University of St. Thomas. He married the love of his life, Debra, on June 28th, 1980. David had a long and successful career in the banking/finance world that spanned over 4 decades. He retired in 2019 from ACI Worldwide as their Chief Risk Officer.

David was an avid golfer, boater/fisherman, and traveler. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends. He was a peaceful, charitable, and kind man and he will be sorely missed.

David was preceded in death by his father Neil. He is survived by his wife Debra, children Andrew (Emalee) and Katelyn (Daniel), mother Joan, siblings Phil (Deb), Sally, Judith (Eric, decd), Jon (Deb), and Kurt (Jeannie), and his beautiful grandchildren Elia, Adeline, Zachary, Everett, and Maya. Also nieces, nephews, an aunt, uncle, cousins and so many cherished friends!

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 23rd at Plymouth Presbyterian Church in Plymouth, MN. Arrangements are by Hodges Funeral Home, Naples, and Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, Plymouth.
